As of May 1, 2025, the U.S. has officially implemented a 145% tariff on many imported goods from China, including craft supplies, luxury fabrics, embellishments, and other fashion materials — all of which are core components in our handcrafted, custom pieces here at ✨ B.eaded E.verything by “The Croc Doc” 💕🐊.
💸 Why Are Prices Changing?
Due to these massive tariff increases, the cost to import materials we use — including designer-inspired charms, vinyls, rhinestones, luxe fabrics, and custom croc accessories — has more than doubled overnight. For example, a shipment previously costing $150 now incurs over $217 in tariffs, bringing the total to nearly $370 for the same goods.
These government-imposed tariffs went into effect May 1, 2025, eliminating the previous “duty-free” de minimis exemption that allowed under-$800 shipments from China to enter the U.S. tariff-free.

We take great pride in offering high-quality, hand-embellished, custom creations at fair prices. But with the skyrocketing costs to import supplies, it is no longer sustainable to absorb the increases without making some adjustments.
